So does this mean HTC is going be releasing all of their products directly in the US?

"Notably missing from UTStarcom's releases are the SMT5800 and PPC6800 smartphone models, the next generation of Windows Mobile phones for Sprint, Verizon and Cingular. UTStarcom rep Joseph Vasquez said that as those phones are manufactured by HTC, HTC will be releasing them to carriers directly. "
